During an official visit to Singapore, Vietnamese leader Trần Cẩm Tú engaged in discussions with Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, with a focus on enhancing their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The meeting underscored the robust development of economic, trade, and investment connections between the two nations. In particular, they noted significant progress in areas such as manufacturing, logistics, finance, and high technology.

The leaders expressed a mutual interest in broadening their collaboration into emerging sectors. Among these are artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and semiconductors, as well as data centres, clean energy, green finance, and human resource development. Such expansions are expected to drive future growth and innovation, benefiting both countries.

Additionally, both sides stressed the importance of maintaining regular high-level exchanges. They also emphasized the need for closer cooperation among government agencies, businesses, and local authorities. This approach is aimed at fostering new opportunities that promote sustainable growth and development.
